The history of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore dates back to 1906. The quality infrastructure, faculty, research activities, extension, recognition abroad and pursuit of excellence constitute the basic elements that contribute to the success of TNAU.

 

 

 

                 TNAU is well known for its pioneering innovative initiatives over the decades to strengthen its Teaching and Research activities. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi has also recognized the caliber of TNAU and sanctioned funds under National Agricultural Innovation Project to develop e-courses for the degree programmes in Agriculture.
